Hot Rods & Home Runs

Combine a Car Meet-Up with a College Summer League game at Capital One Park on July 22, 2023. Bring your vintage muscle cars or hot rods and your $20 entry fee will get you two tickets to the Potomac League games, a cheeseburger or hot dog, chips and a soda. Some fun baseball related prizes will be awarded by our purely non-expert car judges: Coolest paint job, wildest interior, “baddest” engine, loudest car, etc. This is not an uptight car show, it's a fun get together for you to show baseball fans your amazing car while you enjoy a beer and a college baseball game.

Entry Fee - $20 (each car entry will receive 2 tickets to game and two meals - $30 value) 100% of the proceeds from the entry fees will go to the Potomac League's baseball camps for underprivileged baseball players. Entry fees (cash please) will be collected at the event. 

Check-in Time -  The parking lot will open at 8:00am. All cars need to be in parking lot by 10:00am. No admittance after 10:00am. Cars can leave the parking lot any time after noon.

Prizes will be awarded at 12:30, and the winning cars will be allowed a quick drive on the field for more recognition. 

Baseball Games  - Three College Summer Baseball games are played at 10:00am, 1:00pm, and 4:00pm.
