Thai Flavors Meet High Tea at Flore Café in Tysons

Pinkies out! The newest concept from the founder of Sisters Thai serves decadent desserts, Thai-inspired gelato, high tea and all-day brunch.

Immerse yourself in White Lotus-style luxury—minus the drama of the hit HBO series—at a high tea experience at Flore Café.

Opened on April 6, this new concept from Sisters Thai founder Tammie Disayawathana aims for patrons to feel like they’re at a resort in Phuket, Thailand, where Season 3 of the show was filmed. “You feel like you come to check in at the resort, and then we’re going to pretend that we work at the hotel,” says the restaurateur, who also owns Magnolia Dessert Bar & Coffee in Vienna.

Launched to coincide with Thai New Year (April 13-15), the White Lotus theme will continue through the end of April, with drink specials such as the zero-proof Royal Orchid Elixir (purple potato, coconut, pineapple, orange and lime) and The Final Check Out (coconut oil-washed Maker’s Mark bourbon, demerara sugar and angostura bitters).

A Europe-meets-Thailand high tea experience will be a regular offering at Flore, which occupies the mezzanine level of Sisters Thai in Tysons. (Opened in November 2024, Sisters Tysons is the newest and largest of the restaurant’s five area locations. It’s also offering a White Lotus-inspired menu through the end of April, with specials such as an “Escape with Madame Scallop” appetizer, “Coconut from Heaven” seafood curry and “Queen of Andaman” seafood pad Thai.)
