Pickleball at Metro Park

Capital One Center now offers four pickleball courts at Metro Park which are suitable for both singles and doubles play, and utilize a premium acrylic hardcourt surfacing material, Laykold, while offering professional-grade nets and court striping which meet USA Pickleball standards. Pickleball is easy to learn, suitable for all ages and skill levels, and a great activity for a variety of group settings including corporate team-building and family socials.

Operating Hours

8:00am - 9:00pm daily.

Courts will stay open through the beginning of November.

Does everyone in my group need to have a Court Reseve account?

Yes. Every person that comes to use the pickleball courts will need to create an account and sign the liability waiver. Once you sign the waiver, you won’t have to do it again.

For directions to Metro Park at Capital One Center follow the designated link. Metro Park is also easily accessible via the McLean Metro Station on the Silver Line.

Game Basics

  • Played with solid paddles and perforated polymer balls
  • Court is 20' x 44' (about one-third the size of a tennis court)
  • Can be played as singles or doubles

Walk-up Availability: Walk-ups are allowed, however, all players should check the CourtReserve booking system before arriving and make their reservations through the platform. Even if you plan to walk up, please book your court time through CourtReserve first.
